Happy New Year 2018! A new year for the races in Paris and a new dedicated blog
At Paris Running Tours, we love Paris passionately, we love running passionately. That is why we created Paris Running Tours to share our passions with runners from all over the world, show them our beautiful city and share a good running moment (go see our site).
As passionate runners, we do participate in Parisian running competitions. This new blog aims to present all Parisian races through an annual calendar and dedicated articles.
Our visitors often ask us for information about these races. I hope that this site will be able to help them to choose, get to know them better and participate in them (this is not always easy from abroad).
I am Jean-Charles, one of the Paris Running Tours guides. I have been running since 1995 and mainly in Paris. Until now, I have competed about 350 competitions including 230 in Paris. It is with pleasure that I will share here these moments of races which are always new adventures. It is therefore a blog which is not an “official” site but which, in addition to presenting detailed information (registrations, schedules, results, photos, films), speaks about races in a subjective way, through my eyes. I evoke past, present and future races. You will be able to complete articles, add questions and information using the “Comments” area.
Let’s start with the list of races that will take place in Paris this year (each of these races can be presented for different annual editions in specific articles).

In this blog, you will often find links on which you can click to access sites related to the race, photos, films or the race course. Thanks to the photographers and filmmakers! (On some photos, you can recognize our Paris Running Tours runners.)
Some of the routes come from our GPS watches (less precise in the narrower streets…)

Not all races are yet announced at this beginning of the year. This list will be completed as announcements are made.
If you want to have a competition in Paris and you book a tour with us, let us know and we will be able to show you the itinerary and help you to prepare the race (the Paris marathon, for example). Need advice on how to participate in these races? Ask us! Of course, if you don’t want to take part in a competition but wish to fully enjoy tourist jogging, we are here.
We love competition and running but we love Paris just as much!
In competition, in training, in touristic jogging, with us ; -) , in trail or even on treadmill, whatever your choices, we wish you to have a lot of fun by running!
