Endorun Paris 2019

This is the second edition of Endorun, a mixed race organized in favour of research against endometriosis in France! After the first ENDOrun Paris in 2018, the first run entirely dedicated to research against endometriosis, the race returns on Sunday, November 10, 2019. ENDOmind France and its ambassador Imany welcome runners for a sporting and festive event! The event brought together more than 1200 participants in 2018 and enabled the ENDOmind France association to donate more than 5000€ to research. In 2019, 2 departures will be proposed: a 5 km loop and a 10 km loop in the Bois de Vincennes, a partner village and activities related to the fight against this disease. Like last year, this edition promises to be a great sports festival, a great celebration for a good cause. COURIR POUR LE PLAISIR supports the association SYNDROME DE LOWE, by donating a financial contribution for each registration. The corrida of the 15th arrondissement 2019

It is with pleasure that we will find this new edition of the corrida*1 of the 15th arrondissement*2 of Paris. We owe this competition to a woman who has done a lot for running in Paris: Françoise Fidon. She has recently left us and we will think of her very much during the race. Fortunately, her friends have taken up the torch and will continue to organize this competition. The route consists of two loops in the streets of the 15th arrondissement of Paris. The race is quite rolling, crossing twice the beautiful André Citroën Park and goes along the Seine. The route is flat, however, it is necessary to plan twice the small climb to leave the banks. *1 Corrida: many competitions have taken the name of “corrida”, of course they are no bulls here (fortunately, let’s them leave in peace!) but running, the word corrida originally means “running” in Spanish and Portuguese. A very old “corrida” takes place in Brazil every year, on the evening of December 31st, in Sao Paulo, the Corrida of new year’s eve: the “Corrida Internacional de São Silvestre” in Portuguese. *2 The corrida of the 15th resists to the disappearance of all the friendly little local Parisian races, all those district (arrondissement) races whose organization is becoming more and more difficult to prepare (find >here< the reminder of all the local races we used to have). 2017 and 2018 have seen the loss of Paris Centre (for the 1st and 2nd arrondissements), the strides of the 8th, the 10 km of the 9th, the 10 km of the 19th ! But some of these races are coming back! In 2019, in November, we will be back at the Paris Centre race. In 2020, the strides of the 8th and the 10 km of the 9th arrondissement will return…. The start takes place at Parc de la Villette. The planned route is traced along both banks of the Ourq Canal. The 20K of Paris 2019

2019, this is the 41st edition of the 20 km of Paris! More than 26,000 arrivals in 2018. Every year, we are happy to return to this great race, which is becoming more and more organized (wave starts, pace leaders for all objectives, etc.), with beautiful animations, and naturally, a sensational course, starting and finishing at the Eiffel Tower, racetrack avenue Foch, Bois de Boulogne and on both sides of the Seine…. Come and participate or cheer! To support, place yourself at the entrances or exits of the tunnels, it is an interesting sight or take advantage of the bridges to see your loved ones as they pass on the right bank and then on the left bank (route in link). The races of Luxembourg 2019

A beautiful “local” Parisian race: the route consists of three large loops and one small run around the Luxembourg garden. Even if it goes fast, one does not forget to admire along the way, the Fountain of the Observatory, the Museum of Luxembourg, the Senate (Palais du Luxembourg) and in the distance, the Pantheon. A 10 km with 4 loops implies that the first ones necessarily double the last ones (please, even if it’s nice to run with friends, don’t run together on a line to let the fastest ones double you 😉). After the 10 km, other races are organized, the 6km of the 6th arrondissement, the races of 500 meters and 1 km for children. We must thank Jean-Luc who struggles every year for this race can take place (and thanks to the volunteers!). First race of the season and first all-female race in France: La Parisienne. Even with a fairly expensive price for a short distance, 7 km, the Parisienne is a great celebration because it is associated with many activities all weekend (yoga, music, dances,…) The theme of this year’s race is once again American: “The Wild West” And why not combine this competition with a sightrunning tour of the city during your stay in Paris by running with authentic Parisian runner guides (warming up some day before the competition or recovering some day after)? July! With these Foulées France des Iles, organized by the Sports and Cultural Association ACCOLADE, find the festive atmosphere of the French West Indies (ti punch after the finish line!). Several races, a 5 km, the 10 km and races for children.
