Loops of the 17th arrondissement 2019

Once again, we find a arrondissement race, the “Boucles du 17ème arrondissement de Paris”. A great competitive race that takes place, of course, in the streets of the 17th arrondissement. Even if we are not in Montmartre or Belleville, the course is not entirely flat and we have to manage some little slopes. At the end of the race, the awards ceremony takes place in a large room of the Town Hall, with a good atmosphere and a small friendly buffet.   And why not combine this competition with a sightrunning tour of the city during your stay in Paris by running with authentic Parisian runner guides (warming up some day before the competition or recovering some day after)? The 10K of Paris Center 2019

Update November 12, 2019: the race originally scheduled for Sunday, November 17 has been postponed to Sunday, November 24 Superb race especially for the places it crosses. One of the best running routes in Paris for a competition (like the 10 km Adidas Paris). In previous years (except in 2016), the start and finish took place on avenue de l’Opéra, with the beautiful Opéra Garnier in front of the runners at the start, passage rue de Rivoli, Place Vendôme, passage in front of the Louvre, beautiful monuments all along the route, very pleasant to contemplate even if you are in a hurry… This year too, the itinerary promises to be magnificent (see link). Competitive race, the route is relatively flat. In 2018, the race having been cancelled, the links given here point to the 2017 (or earlier) documents, images, videos and results.     And why not combine this competition with a sightrunning tour of the city during your stay in Paris by running with authentic Parisian runner guides (warming up some day before the competition or recovering some day after)? “La Course des Lumières” Paris 2019

This is the fourth time that La Course des Lumières (Paris) will perform. It is a charity race with the aim of supporting the Institut Curie and cancer research. Two “events”, a 10 km non-timed race on the banks of the Seine and a 4 km walk. A beautiful itinerary that takes place at night all along the Seine, left and right banks, with the illuminations of the City of Light!   And why not combine this competition with a sightrunning tour of the city during your stay in Paris by running with authentic Parisian runner guides (warming up some day before the competition or recovering some day after)? Half-marathon of Boulogne 2019

This is the 23rd edition of the Boulogne half-marathon, one of the most important French half-marathons. By the way, why does it appear in this blog when Boulogne is not Paris and this blog is only dedicated to Parisian races? Well, part of his route passes through the Bois de Boulogne, which belongs to Paris! A very rolling course that attracts many competitive runners. Souvenir from 2002. Small article from the newspaper of Boulogne, dedicated to the race (I appear in third position on the picture, for a time of 1h18):   And why not combine this competition with a sightrunning tour of the city during your stay in Paris by running with authentic Parisian runner guides (warming up some day before the competition or recovering some day after)?
