10K of the Hexagone 2019

This year, the “10KM DE L’HEXAGONE”* is much more than a race… it’s a whole summer and festive weekend reserved for “Hexagoners” on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 June at the “Hippodrome d’Auteuil”! In addition to the 10km and 5km “family walk and run” events, the 10KM DE L’HEXAGONE offers you this year: a 10 km duo a race for the Little Hexagoners (children’s race / free) Pilates and Yoga Courses (free) and of course, and always, a free daycare for the little ones! Like the previous years, in Paris, the race starts and ends at the splendid hippodrome of Auteuil, precisely on the athletic track which is in the middle of the horses race field (for information, it is a track open to the public when there are no equestrian races, a beautiful 400 m to make its intervals series). It’s always a great pleasure to finish a race by going around a stadium! Propice to the final sprint which makes us gain a few seconds and pass under the threshold of the objective! * “Hexagone” means the continental part of France, reminding that its geographical shape resembles an almost regular hexagon (3 land sides and 3 sea sides). By extension, “Hexagone” is often used to designate France itself. The now traditional Château du Vincennes race with its mythical arrival through a door of the splendid monument and, moreover, on the red carpet! The strides of the 12th arrondissement 2019

The strides of the 12th, of which this is the 15th edition, will once again honour the Cipal stadium where the race ends. The Cipal! Stadium now a little forgotten but which was one of the places where the 1900 and 1924 Olympic Games were held. The stadium also welcomed the arrival of the Tour de France in the 1960s and 1970s… before the Champs Elysées! Even if the stadium is less famous now, it is a feat that the runners of this new edition will achieve. In June, nature is green, the course takes place in the beautiful woods of Vincennes. With no elevation, it is a performance-friendly rolling circuit (with 100 runners under 40 minutes for less than 900 finishers in 2018). 10 km Adidas Paris 2019

This June 9th, 2019, it will be the second edition of the 10 km Adidas Paris. In fact, these 10 km are the continuation of the races that were called the “10 km de l’Equipe.” This race has the particularity of bringing together a large number of runners, an exceptional number for a 10 km race (more than 17,000 finishes in 2018!). It must be said that the race passes through a spectacular Parisian route, it was the case in 2018: start Concorde, Madeleine, Opéra Garnier, rue de Rivoli, banks of the Seine and finish Eiffel Tower ! The route will soon be announced, it also promises to offer magnificent landscapes.
