“10 km pour elles” 2018

This is the fifth edition of this 10 km Parisian, 100% female. Several thousand athletes of all levels participate each year in this great celebration of women’s running (with the one of the ‘Parisienne’ which takes place in September). The race runs along two loops, the longest of which runs along the left bank of the Seine, in the east of Paris. “Grande Bibliothèque”, “les Docks”, “Gare d’Austerlitz”, “Institut du Monde Arabe” are the emblematic buildings that will be seen while running. Good race, Ladies!

Paris Saint Germain en Laye the race 2018

This May 27th, it will be the 10th edition of the now classic “Paris-Saint-Germain-en-Laye La course”, a crossing of 20 km*, between Paris, the Hauts-de-Seine and the Yvelines. A half-urban, half-nature race, a 20 km not really flat with a passage through the Mont-Valérien (see the drop). We start in the Bois de Boulogne, we pass by the banks of the Seine, by the towns of Suresnes, Nanterre, Rueil-Malmaison, Chatou, Croissy-sur-Seine, Le Vesinet, Le Pecq to finish at the terrace of the beautiful castle of Saint Germain en Laye. * There is now also a 10 km but as it does not pass in Paris, we will not talk about it here.

The race of the “Château de Vincennes” 2018

Another beautiful wooded race, this time at the “Bois de Vincennes”. The race leaves and returns to the splendid “Château de Vincennes”, with arrival in the Castle and what is more, on a red carpet! Runners are in the spotlight. Flat course and conducive to performance.

Global 6K for Water Paris 2018

2018: First edition of the 6K for Water in France. Objective: 300 participants. Launched in 2014 by the World Vision network (the world’s leading NGO sponsoring children), the Global 6K for Water arrives for the first time in France! This solidarity-based course, open to all, brought together 28,000 participants last year in 18 countries and ensured access to drinking water for 35,000 people. Founded in 1950, World Vision supports 120 million children each year (with local NGOs and partners) in 4 areas: access to drinking water, food, health and education. Its aim is to make the communities autonomous. As such, the association favours the transfer of skills and the participation of local populations in all projects. Why 6 km? Every day, thousands of children in developing countries travel about 6 kilometres to fetch water because they lack access to this precious resource in their homes. On May 19, 2018, be part of the global movement and cover these 6 km so they no longer have to. 🙂

10K of Bois de Boulogne 2018

Again, a race in the Bois de Boulogne, we do not get tired of it, it is really a magnificent place to run, especially in the middle of May, where nature is flourishing. It is a race that is suitable for performances (31′ for the first in 2017), well organized despite more than 4000 runners, with starts by waves and pacers. Online registration is still possible until Friday, May 4, 2018 at noon. Registration at the “Village” of the race from Friday May 4th at 3pm to Saturday May 5th at 7pm (don’t forget the medical certificate).     Many photos available in the links at the top of the article (photos 2016).

No Finish Line Paris 2018

The No Finish Line® exists since 1999 and occurred for the first time in Paris in May 2015. This 4th edition will take place in the Champ de Mars. The principle is simple and accessible to all: alone or in teams, you run or walk on a circuit of about 1300 meters, opened 24 hours a day for 5 days, as often as wished and as many km as wished. Thanks to the registrations, to the donors and to the sponsors, for every km, the “Children & Future Paris” association Paris gives back 1 € to support projects in favor of disadvantaged or sick children. We pass and pass again in the beautiful alleys of the Champ de Mars, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. Day and night: In addition to the general race, the No Finish Line organizes two events, a 5-day competition and a 24-hour race. Last year, our ultra-marathon guide, Flavien, finished on the 24-hour podium :
